Field Goals

This is sort of a variation on War; a little more interesting, just as much skill involved.

You have a deck of cards and your opponent has a deck. You draw two cards, these are the goal posts (A thru K is 1 thru 13). Your opponent draws one card, which is his kick. If it's in the range of your two goal posts or if it's an Ace, he successfully kicked the field goal, so he sets that "kick" card to one side (Missed kicks and goal post cards are discarded) That's it -- you both take turns being goal posts and kicking. The winner is whoever ends up with the biggest success pile, of course.

(sample plays... Your goal posts are 6 and Q. Your opponent's kick is a 6. He made it -- hit the goal post, but he made it... His goal posts are two 9's. Your kick is an Ace. You made it... )
